Kala is a tom-boy overall. She's the type who will laugh when threatened and tells those who are afraid to get over themselves. She doesn't have time for those who are weak and can't stand up for themselves. Simply put she's quite the bitch and isn't afraid to let you know it. She would leave someone for the heartless if she had no use for them. She doesn't like the thought of getting close to someone therefore she doesn't allow herself the time to. Those who are intelligent enough to guess why she's how she is would guess that it has to do with her past, which only a rare select people know about her past. Many believe she has chosen the path of darkness but really she's finding her own path. It crosses between dark and light but never stays long.

Kala has short messy white hair. By messy she has tufts of hair sticking up everywhere mostly going toward the crown of her head. The only piece of her hair that stays flat are her bangs that fall into their own "spike." Her eyes are a deep blood red that clash against her pale freckled face. She stands at the short height of 5'3 1/2 and her weight varies in the 120s.
As for her attire, she wears a half-jacket that is navy blue with tan faux-fur around the hood with a black low cut muscle top. Her tank top has the heartless symbol proudly over her chest. She also wears black cargo pants with two bulky belts crossing over one another. She also wears a simple black silk choker and a black and white checkered bracelet on her left arm. As for her shoes she wears black low top sneakers that have white laces, toes, and soles.

The darkness invaded Kala's world when she was young. Her family was torn apart because of it. The darkness overcame her father and it killed her mother. She no longer believed he was her father. There was a darkness he accepted into his heart that eventually killed him too. The day Kala received her keyblade was the day he "died." The darkness drove him to attack her and the keyblade practically forced her to defend herself. She was 13 nearly 14, after that she ran away. She escaped from Radiant Garden and found herself in Twilight Town, a world that was forever locked in day light.

She at the time assumed she would be safe in Twilight Town, considering it was always daylight she figured the darkness couldn't reach her there. She was strongly mistaken. The darkness had reached all worlds, even in the town that seemed to never sleep there were nightmarish creatures. When she discovered this that she decided she had to be strong, she didn't have time to be afraid. No more hiding. She would do whatever it took to survive, whether it meant working with or against the darkness.

Needless to say this hasn't made her many friends, not that she cares. She refuses to lose more of those she loves to the darkness, therefore she refuses to love again. She just uses those who can help her to her own advantage and then ditches them when they aren't useful anymore. It has made her survive this long so even if she's lost out on friends at least she's alive still.
