[/PTab][PTab=Threads]
Threads are what moves the site forward. It is where everything happens. In War of Hearts there are two kinds of threads: Groups and Singles. When finished with a thread of either type, post a link to it in the modifications forum under Dive to the Heart for evaluation and reward. Below you will see a brief description of what the two thread types are:
Groups
Groups are threads done with other people. In order to encourage character interaction, and to make up for possible slowing of threads due to longer waiting times, all characters in a social gets +1 free point for each person above two present in the thread. During evaluation, a social gives anything from 1-5 Experience points, before adding bonuses.
Singles
Singles are like Groups, except done alone and yield a smaller amount of experience points, with 3 being the maximum. Instead they can be used for character development when needed.
[/PTab][PTab=Earning Munny]
In War of Hearts, Munny is used to buy equipment and items, and is gained much like EXP, by posting. The amount you get is based on the amount of EXP earned within the thread, times the number of posts you did in the thread.
Example: Sora earns a total of 4 EXP from a Group thread. He did a total of 12 posts in the thread, meaning he earned 48 Munny (4 x 12 = 48)
[/PTab][PTab=Levelling up]
As you post, you will recieve EXP with which you level up your character. The amount of EXP needed to level up is equal to the next level + 3. Reaching a new level awards your character with 5 Stat points that can be used to increase stats. However, only 3 points may be used on any one stat.
[/PTab][PTab=The Stats]
The War of Hearts RP has a number of stats to show the difference in strength between multiple people. The five base stats are as follows:
[PTabbedContent][PTab=Strength]
Physical power, strength represents the character's ability to throw punches and break things. Used for melee attacks, thrown weapons and other strength based activities.
[/PTab][PTab=Agility]
Physical movement speed and reaction. The higher your characters speed, the faster they are to react to danger and attacks.
[/PTab][PTab=Defence]
Physical staying power and stamina, defence shows your character's resistance to damage.
[/PTab][PTab=Accuracy]
Accuracy represent the character's ability to pin point small targets with ranged attacks and abilities.
[/PTab][PTab=Magic]
Magic is the character's ability to use magic, with higher level spells often requiring higher magic.
Besides this, each character has a stat called MP, or Mana Points. All character start with 2 Mana, except for those who choose or forsake the Dream Rod, in which case they start out with 3 or 1 respectively. For every 10 points of Magic, the character gains a new point in MP.
All characters begin with 5 in all stats, though their choices at character creation will change this. From then on, characters raise their stats by gaining levels.

[/PTab][PTab=Abilities and AP]
Whenever you gain EXP, you gain half of what you earn (rounded up) in AP (Ability Points), which can be used to purchase or upgrade abilities, skills and spells. It is used much like a currency, to buy the rights to use an ability, skill or spell. Whenever learned, an ability, skill or spell is permanently part of your character, so choose wisely.
Some Abilities, skills or spells come have tiers, such as the spell Fire. It contains three spells: Fire, Fira and Firaga. These must be bought in sucession, from lowest (Fire) to highest (Firaga). Other times, they require a completely different ability, skill or spell. See the respective Ability, skill or spell for more information.
[/PTab][PTab=Casting Spells]
Spells and certain magical skills, such as Fire or Blizzard Edge respectively, require Mana (or MP) to use. Every time a character casts a spell or uses a magical skill, they expend Mana as noted by the ability itself. Eventually, should the character cast enough spells, they will end up with no Mana left. Using an Ether, or simply allowing your magical energy to recharge, replenish Mana. If the second option is taken, the character replenish a single point of Mana every two posts.
[/PTab][PTab=Keyblades]
On War of Hearts, all characters start out as Keyblade wielders in the rough, looking to grow stronger for different reasons. Every Keyblade is unique, and as such, no two wielders can have the same Keyblade. At character creation, you can choose to claim a Canon Keyblade of the series, such as the Kingdom Key, Way to the Dawn or Fenrir, though the Ultima Weapon Keyblades are off limits. The Keyblade itself gives you no extra stats or abilities, and is merely used to give your character something unique.
However, a player may also create their own Keyblade, though must leave either a good description, a picture, or both, in order to do so.

- Don't act like a mod - helping other players is encouraged, but you are not allowed to hold any authority over other members.
- No racist, sexist, homophobic, or other derogatory slurs will be tolerated.
- No Porn - Posting any 18+ material, visual or otherwise, will result in instant banning of your account. If you are unsure as to whether or not a picture you would like for your character is appropriate, ask a mod.
- No posting about animal abuse, child abuse, or any other seriously sick thoughts.
- Never ask for stuff that needs to be deserved - that only makes your chances smaller.
- Have fun! ^-^
[/PTab][PTab=In Character]
- All in-character posts should be written in third person, past tense.
- no powergaming; this involves controlling another's character, as well as playing your character beyond their ability. If you are unsure wither or not an action counts as powergaming, ask a mod.
- No metagaming; this means your character should not magically have knowledge of things, just because you have it.
- When posting in threads with other people, please be patient and wait for others to post instead of rushing ahead. In threads of 2-3, it is socially acceptable to skip a persons "turn" when they haven't posted for at least 3 days, unless agreed otherwise with the players themselves. In groups of 4+, the order can be more mixed, but we'd like to see that a person waits for at least 2 posts to be done before he posts again, if not agreed otherwise. This rule does not apply on people whose characters are in the same thread, while being at separate places IC.
- If your character should be so unfortunate, unlucky, or plain stupid to die, your character will be lost.
- All IC posts should be a minimum of 100 words.
- Characters can only be in one place at a time.
- Original characters only. You may not be connected to canon characters, use them or even mention them. In this RP, they do not exist.
