Rey is rather protective over those close to him and would choose them over the darkness he wields in his heart. That being said he is a character of great ambition. His lust for power has turned him towards the darkness where his hate of those stronger then him fuels his strength. Wielding the Oblivion Keyblade is somewhat of a homage towards his parents who are both dead or . . . in oblivion.

Rey has quite long hair that is electric blue. It often hangs over his piercing green eyes which in moments of anger dull and turn almost brown that results in a hazel. His out fit consists of an unsymmetrical sleeved shirt. The left side is sleeveless while his right arm is covered to the wrist. On that arm he wears a fashioned blackened gauntlet that was his fathers. For bottoms he is usually seen in full length pants that stop at his ankles. On his feet he wears a pair of hi topped sneakers. With Blue hair and Green eyes Rey stands out in a crowd. The shoes he wears are black with his pants also being black. His shirt is the exception however being black on the torso and having a Blue sleeve that matches his hair.

[/PTab][PTab=Backstory]
Rey was born into a family that was both awkward and famous. His Father was pure at heart and wielded a weapon of such grace that many of the townspeople of Radiant Garden held him like a hero. A Keyblade. His mother however was a simple woman of not much notice or status. The two had married for love and they raised Rey in a loving environment. Even as a young boy Rey played with wooden swords. Fighting imaginary bad guys was an excellent way to keep him busy being an only child.
On the boy's 12 birthday Rey's family were visited by a hooded figure who had his mother nervous and his father on edge. Rey can clearly remember that day as it happened like no other. Being taken upstairs by his mother while his father spoke with the stranger parts of their conversation floated up to him. "I will take the Boy." The mysterious man had said. His father had obviously refused the claim and angered the man. "HE IS MINE!" The look on Rey's mother's face still haunts him to this day. Not a look of horror, but a look of knowing. Keyblade in hand Rey's father charged up the stairs. "What have you done?" he asked his wife.
The woman stepped away from him before drawing her own keyblade. Her was cloaked in darkness and to Rey's father the woman had lived a lie for a long time. The two locked blades as the hooded figure snatched up Rey and left. Crowding heartless into the city Rey and the hooded figure were confronted by another woman wielding a keyblade. After setting Rey down away from her the two locked into battle. The hooded man looked at Rey before turning and leaving through a dark portal.
Rey doesn't remember much after that. His handicapped father looked after him until he died when Rey was 18 and trained him in the use of a keyblade saying he must be fated for one. His mother was never spoken about by either of them. After his fathers passing a great pain struck Rey as for the first time in his life he was alone. The feeling of lonliness is what drew his Keyblade to him. Oblivion Rey named it. For that was where his parents were and how he thought he would spend his life. all alone in his own personal Oblivion.
The heartless became drawn to the keyblade and as such Rey fought or ran. The hooded figure from his nightmares met with him as he turned twenty. Facing him off Rey became angered quickly and as a result got reckless. The hooded figure bested him and punished him by opening a dark portal and leaving through it. Only for the portal to be left open. Rey tried to enter through it but lacked the ability. It simply became a window to watch. The hooded figure fought with the same woman as last time however not only did she have an apprentice she was killed. Rey watched as the apprentice summoned his own keyblade and fought the weakened figure. The figures voice spoke to him. "Rey, my son. This boy will kill me. But do not hate him. You two are destined for great things. Seek him. Follow him." With that the apprentice took advantage and fired of a spell. The dark fire connected straight into Rey's father's chest and killed him. As the man fell Rey caught a glimpse of blue hair as the portal closed.
Tormented with guilt Rey set out to find the apprentice. To find answers. To find out who and what he was.
