A Chance Meeting.

Walking alone through the streets of Twilight Town was Nero, his brooding looks making people give him weird glances as they walked out of his way. Not that he minded, as it gave him a clear passage through the street. He had no idea what he was doing here, but where was he to go? He had no idea where to start on looking for Kingdom Hearts, and it frustrated him to no end.

Just then, the clock tower rung, and a second later, a young man with bright blue hair came running down the street as if he had left the stove on. Nero, for the first time today, had to move out of the way to not get run down, let out a dissatisfied grunt and turned to continue his walk, when the fourth chime of the bell tower rang and the man said something that caused him to stop in his tracks.

Turning on his heel, he began walking towards the blue haired fellow, his hands deep in his pockets. Stopping a ways off, he set loose a question, which, by the way he said it, sounded so natural to ask a complete stranger: ”What shadows?”

”Stronger?” the man repeated, as he took in the other's looks. He seemed somewhat familiar, but Nero failed to remember where he had seen such bright blue hair before. Taking a step forward, the young man circled the other, as he continued his inquiry. ”For what? What do someone like you need to be stronger for?”

He was genuinely interested, though he feighned indifference. He did not know why he was interested, but there was many times that Nero would question his thoughts or feelings. He had grown used to it by now, and just acted upon it.

”You have someone you need to protect?” It was the first thing that came to mind. A stab of pain struck his heart as he said it, though he kept it locked in, away from prying eyes. Finally stopping his roundabout around the other man, he turned his back and looked up at the clocktower, awaiting an answer, that is, if the stranger was content with answering.

Nero couldn't answer that question. He did not know himself, but something drew him towards this boy. Turning his eyes down on the blue haired bloke, he shrugged indifferently. ”Call me bored. Whatever suits you.” he said and took a step closer. ”But what are your goals, if you don't mind me asking?”

Turning slightly, he then walked past the other young man and looked up at the sky. ”Though maybe I should tell you mine first, hmm? It seems only fair, doesn't it?” he said and chuckled. Spinning around, his eyes flashed yellow for a split second, as he spoke in a whisper. ”I seek Kingdom Hearts.”

Kala sighed as she gazed up at the sky that was ever-locked in the sunset. Despite the darkness that was slowly taking over the worlds this one seemed almost... peaceful? Almost as if it had never been touched though she knew for a fact that it had. She had saw them, the shadows, for herself. The small ones didn't scare her. A few hits from Bond of Flame and they were gone, it was the larger ones that bothered her. They weren't as easy to defeat. She was bored of all these thoughts of shadows so she hummed and sat up from her laying position. She was laying on the bridge in Tram Common. She could hear the Tram coming back around so she readied herself to drop down on top of it so she could get a free ride to the ice cream parlor 'Deep Freeze,' they were so creative with the name. Ever since she had gotten to this town she has had a small addiction to the infamous Sea Salt ice cream they sold just about everywhere.

After buying her ice cream and bidding the man behind the counter farewell she decided to walk up to the Station Plaza so she could sit on the clock tower. As she was headed that way she over heard two older men talking about shadows. She raised a perfectly shaped dark brow and eyed the two. Why were they talking about shadows out in the open like that. She decided to casually sit against one of the buildings near them and listen to their conversation while she ate her ice cream. She enjoyed the salty yet sweet flavor of the sky colored pop. 'What is this Kingdom Hearts this man speaks of?' She silently questioned.

Rey watched as the man summoned the same keyblade that had clashed with his father. A pain struck him as he winced as it was summoned. Rey couldn't really contain himself and as such spoke. "You have killed a man before haven't you." Rey was hoping to change the subject slightly and distract the man due to the sole reason he had no answer to his question. Rey was at a loss as to what to do. Glancing around looking for an answer he spotted among the chaos a girl with white hair against a building holding what looked to be some sort of flavoured treat. 

”Huh?” Nero was surprised when he was asked if he had killed someone and froze, as visions of his past raced through his mind. He then covered his head even more behind the collar, his eyes giving off a pale glow, though they did not turn completely yellow as they had done before. ”What do you--?”

Before he could finish his sentence, he noticed that the blue haired man was looking off to the side and turned his head to see a girl, who soon enough summoned her own Keyblade. What the hell was this? Did everyone have a Keyblade these days? Pulling himself together, he spoke to the girl.

”You wield a Keyblade, yet don't know about Kingdom Hearts?” he asked and pointed the end of his Keyblade at the girl. ”I don't buy it.” Turning his eyes sideways, he looked at the blue haired bloke. He now had two potential enemies to deal with. How troublesome...

"My master never quite got the chance to tell me about this mysterious Kingdom Hearts. I've only heard brief mentions of it." She raised a brow at the blue haired man again. She questioned why he kept looking at her. She stepped back at the mention of a duel. She didn't want to fight. She would prefer to save her magic for a fight against an actual threat rather than two men she just met. She armed herself with her own Dark Fire in case the other man decided to attack her. She didn't feel threatened by the blue haired man. He seemed to scared to try to attack her. Her crimson gaze flickered between the two. The tension was so thick she could probably cut it with her keyblade. She chuckled slightly under her breath. She didn't understand why everyone was so quick to fight now rather than have a civil conversation but if they were going to draw weapons she wasn't going to walk into their conversation blindly.
